حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ إِسْمَعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ يُخْبِرُهُمْ ذَاكَعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا كَفَى أَحَدَكُمْ خَادِمُهُ طَعَامَهُ حَرَّهُ وَدُخَانَهُ فَلْيَأْخُذْ بِيَدِهِ فَلْيُقْعِدْهُ مَعَهُ فَإِنْ أَبَى فَلْيَأْخُذْ لُقْمَةً فَلْيُطْعِمْهَا إِيَّاهُقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَأَبُو خَالِدٍ وَالِدُ إِسْمَعِيلَ اسْمُهُ سَعْدٌ

Narrated to us [Nashr bin Ali], narrated to us [Sufyan] from [Isma'il bin Abu Khalid] from [his father] from [Abu Hurairah], he informed him from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he said: 'If a servant of one of you has prepared food for him, and the food is still hot and steaming, let him take his servant’s hand and sit with him. If the servant refuses, let him take a portion of the food and give it to him.' Abu Isa said: This is a hasan sahih hadith. Abu Khalid is the father of Isma'il, his name is Sa'd.
