حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ قَالَ سُئِلَ أَنَسٌ عَنْ كَسْبِ الْحَجَّامِ فَقَالَ أَنَسٌاحْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَحَجَمَهُ أَبُو طَيْبَةَ فَأَمَرَ لَهُ بِصَاعَيْنِ مِنْ طَعَامٍ وَكَلَّمَ أَهْلَهُ فَوَضَعُوا عَنْهُ مِنْ خَرَاجِهِ وَقَالَ إِنَّ أَفْضَلَ مَا تَدَاوَيْتُمْ بِهِ الْحِجَامَةَ أَوْ إِنَّ مِنْ أَمْثَلِ دَوَائِكُمْ الْحِجَامَةَقَالَ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَنَسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَقَدْ رَخَّصَ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَغَيْرِهِمْ فِي كَسْبِ الْحَجَّامِ وَهُوَ قَوْلُ الشَّافِعِيِّ

Narrated to us [Ali bin Hujr], informed us [Isma'il bin Ja'far] from [Humaid], he said: [Anas] was asked about the wage of a cupper, Anas answered: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, once cupped he was cupped by Abu Thaibah, then he ordered to give him two sha' of food, he spoke to his masters and they reduced it for him from his tax. And he said: Indeed, the best treatment you use is cupping." Or: "The best medicine for you is cupping." He said: In this chapter, there are similar hadiths from Ali, Ibnu Abbas, and Ibnu Umar. Abu Isa said: The hadith of Anas is hasan sahih and some scholars from among the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and others permitted the wage of a cupper, this is the opinion of Asy Syafi'i."
