أَخْبَرَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنْ الْمُزَابَنَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ أَنْ يُبَاعَ مَا فِي رُءُوسِ النَّخْلِ بِتَمْرٍ بِكَيْلٍ مُسَمًّى إِنْ زَادَ لِي وَإِنْ نَقَصَ فَعَلَيَّ

Narrated to us [Ziyad bin Ayyub], he said : has told us [Ibn 'Ulaiyah], he said : has told us [Ayyub] from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar] that Rasulullah peace be upon him prohibited muzabanah, and muzabanah is selling what is on the date palm tree with dates in a certain measure, he said : If it's more, it's for me and if it's less, it's my responsibility.
