حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْإِسْكَنْدَرَانِيُّ عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةِقَالَ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَزَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ وَسَعْدٍ وَجَابِرٍ وَرَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَالْمُحَاقَلَةُ بَيْعُ الزَّرْعِ بِالْحِنْطَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةُ بَيْعُ الثَّمَرِ عَلَى رُءُوسِ النَّخْلِ بِالتَّمْرِ وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَكْثَرِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ كَرِهُوا بَيْعَ الْمُحَاقَلَةِ وَالْمُزَابَنَةِ

Narrated to us [Qutaibah], narrated to us [Ya'qub bin Abdurrahman Al Iskandarani] from [Suhail bin Abu Shalih] from [his father] from [Abu Hurairah], he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade muhaqalah and muzabanah. He said: In this matter, there are similar hadiths from Ibnu Umar, Ibnu Abbas, Zaid bin Tsabit, Sa'd, Jabir, Rafi' bin Khadij, and Abu Sa'id. Abu Isa said: The hadith of Abu Hurairah is hasan sahih. Muhaqalah is selling crops for wheat muzabanah is selling dates on tree for dry dates. Acted upon by most scholars: disliked muhaqalah and muzabanah.
