حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ مَوْلَى أَسْمَاءَ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَأَنَّهَا نَزَلَتْ لَيْلَةَ جَمْعٍ عِنْدَ الْمُزْدَلِفَةِ فَقَامَتْ تُصَلِّي فَصَلَّتْ سَاعَةً ثُمَّ قَالَتْ يَا بُنَيَّ هَلْ غَابَ الْقَمَرُ قُلْتُ لَا فَصَلَّتْ سَاعَةً ثُمَّ قَالَتْ يَا بُنَيَّ هَلْ غَابَ الْقَمَرُ قُلْت نَعَمْ قَالَتْ فَارْتَحِلُوا فَارْتَحَلْنَا وَمَضَيْنَا حَتَّى رَمَتْ الْجَمْرَةَ ثُمَّ رَجَعَتْ فَصَلَّتْ الصُّبْحَ فِي مَنْزِلِهَا فَقُلْتُ لَهَا يَا هَنْتَاهُ مَا أُرَانَا إِلَّا قَدْ غَلَّسْنَا قَالَتْ يَا بُنَيَّ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَذِنَ لِلظُّعُنِ

Narrated to us Musaddad from Yahya from Ibn Juraij, Sa'd narrated to me Abdullah, the freed slave of Asma?, from Asma?, said: She stopped at Jam? (Muzdalifah) at night, prayed for a while, then said: My son, has the moon set? I said: No. She prayed for a while longer, then said: My son, has the moon set? I said: Yes. She said: Prepare to depart. We departed and proceeded until she threw the Jamrah. Then she returned and prayed Fajr at her residence. I Sa'dto her: O dear, it seems we departed while it was still dark. She said: My son, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, permitted the women traveling (in litters) to do so.
