Narrated to us [Mahmud bin Ghailan], narrated to us [Abu Ahmad], narrated to us [Sufyan] from [Al A'masy] from [Abu Wail] from [Khabbab], he said: 'We migrated with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, seeking the pleasure of Allah Almighty, and Allah will determine our reward. Some of us passed away without tasting any reward (of life after migration), and some of us had fruit that ripened, and they picked it.' Indeed, Mush'ab bin Umair was among those killed in the Battle of Uhud, and we could not find anything to shroud him except a piece of cloth if we covered his head, his feet would be exposed, and if we covered his feet, his head would be exposed. So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'Cover his head (with the shroud) and cover his feet with idhkhir (fragrant grass).' Abu Isa said: 'This hadith is a hasan sahih hadith.' Narrated to us [Hannad], narrated to us [Ibnu Idris] from [Al A'masy] from [Abu Wail Syaqiq bin Salamah] from [Khabbab bin al Art] like the hadith above.
