أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ رُومَانَ عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ خَوَّاتٍ عَمَّنْ صَلَّى مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ ذَاتِ الرِّقَاعِ صَلَاةَ الْخَوْفِأَنَّ طَائِفَةً صَفَّتْ مَعَهُ وَطَائِفَةٌ وِجَاهَ الْعَدُوِّ فَصَلَّى بِالَّذِينَ مَعَهُ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ ثَبَتَ قَائِمًا وَأَتَمُّوا لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفُوا فَصَفُّوا وِجَاهَ الْعَدُوِّ وَجَاءَتْ الطَّائِفَةُ الْأُخْرَى فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ الرَّكْعَةَ الَّتِي بَقِيَتْ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ ثُمَّ ثَبَتَ جَالِسًا وَأَتَمُّوا لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ بِهِمْ

Narrated to us [Qutaibah] from [Malik] from [Yazid bin Ruman] from [Salih bin Khawwat] from [the person who once performed the Khauf prayer] with Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam during the Dzatur Riqa war', that there was a group of people who were marching with him, and another group was facing the enemy. The Prophet prayed one rak'ah with the people with him, then remained standing, while they completed their prayer alone. Then they went and lined up facing the enemy. Then another group came, then Rasulullah peace be upon him performed the remainder of his prayer with them (who were facing the enemy), then he remained seated while they completed their prayer alone. After that the Prophet said greetings with them.
