حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ إِنِّي لَا آلُو أَنْ أُصَلِّيَ بِكُمْ كَمَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي بِنَا قَالَ فَكَانَ أَنَسٌ يَصْنَعُ شَيْئًا لَا أَرَاكُمْ تَصْنَعُونَهُ كَانَ إِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ الرُّكُوعِ انْتَصَبَ قَائِمًا حَتَّى يَقُولَ الْقَائِلُ قَدْ نَسِيَ وَإِذَا رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ السَّجْدَةِ مَكَثَ حَتَّى يَقُولَ الْقَائِلُ قَدْ نَسِيَ

Narrated to us by [Khalaf bin Hisham] that [Hammad bin Zaid] narrated to us from [Thabit] from [Anas] who said, 'Indeed, I do not shorten the prayer when leading you as I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) leading us in prayer.' The narrator said, 'Anas did something that I do not see you doing. When he raised his head from bowing, he stood straight until someone would say, 'He has forgotten (in prayer).' And when he raised his head from prostration, he paused briefly until someone would say, 'He has forgotten (in prayer).'
