حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ وَحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْحُلْوَانِيُّ جَمِيعًا عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ ابْنُ رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ حَدِيثِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ أَنَّ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ غَزَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَبُوكَ قَالَ الْمُغِيرَةُ فَتَبَرَّزَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قِبَلَ الْغَائِطِ فَحَمَلْتُ مَعَهُ إِدَاوَةً قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ فَلَمَّا رَجَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَيَّ أَخَذْتُ أُهَرِيقُ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ مِنْ الْإِدَاوَةِ وَغَسَلَ يَدَيْهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثُمَّ ذَهَبَ يُخْرِجُ جُبَّتَهُ عَنْ ذِرَاعَيْهِ فَضَاقَ كُمَّا جُبَّتِهِ فَأَدْخَلَ يَدَيْهِ فِي الْجُبَّةِ حَتَّى أَخْرَجَ ذِرَاعَيْهِ مِنْ أَسْفَلِ الْجُبَّةِ وَغَسَلَ ذِرَاعَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ قَالَ الْمُغِيرَةُ فَأَقْبَلْتُ مَعَهُ حَتَّى نَجِدُ النَّاسَ قَدْ قَدَّمُوا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ فَصَلَّى لَهُمْ فَأَدْرَكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِحْدَى الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ فَصَلَّى مَعَ النَّاسِ الرَّكْعَةَ الْآخِرَةَ فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُتِمُّ صَلَاتَهُ فَأَفْزَعَ ذَلِكَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَأَكْثَرُوا التَّسْبِيحَ فَلَمَّا قَضَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَاتَهُ أَقْبَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَحْسَنْتُمْ أَوْ قَالَ قَدْ أَصَبْتُمْ يَغْبِطُهُمْ أَنْ صَلَّوْا الصَّلَاةَ لِوَقْتِهَا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ وَالْحُلْوَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ إِسْمَعِيلَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ عَبَّادٍ قَالَ الْمُغِيرَةُ فَأَرَدْتُ تَأْخِيرَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَعْهُ

Narrated to me [Muhammad bin Rafi'] and [Hasan bin Ali al-Hulwani], all narrated from [Abdurrazzaq], [Ibnu Rafi'] said: narrated to us [Abdurrazzaq], informed us [Ibnu Juraij], narrated to me [Ibnu Syihab] from the hadith of ['Abbad bin Ziyad] that [Urwah bin al-Mughirah bin Syu'bah] informed him that [al-Mughirah bin Syu'bah] informed him: 'He fought alongside the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in the Battle of Tabuk.' Al-Mughirah said: 'Then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, relieved himself before the dawn prayer, and I brought water. When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, returned to me, I began pouring water from a container over his hands, and he washed his hands three times, then washed his face, then tried to pull his arms out of his cloak, but the sleeves were tight, so he inserted his hands into the cloak and pulled them out from under it, then washed his arms up to the elbows, then performed wudu over his leather socks, then moved forward.' Al-Mughirah said: 'Then I walked with him until we found the people who had sent Abdurrahman bin Auf forward to lead them. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, joined one of the two rak'ahs, then prayed with the people in the last rak'ah. When Abdurrahman bin Auf gave the salam, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, stood to complete his prayer, which caught the attention of the Muslims, and they increased their tasbih. When the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, finished his prayer, he turned to them and said: You have done well, or he said: You have done right, motivating them to pray on time.' Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Rafi'] and [al-Hulwani], he said: narrated to us [Abdurrazzaq] from [Ibnu Juraij], narrated to me [Ibnu Syihab] from [Ismail bin Muhammad bin Sa'id] from [Hamzah bin al-Mughirah], a similar hadith to Abbad's. [Al-Mughirah] said: 'Then I intended to hold back Abdurrahman, but the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Let him be.'
