حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ ابْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ قَالَانْطَلَقْتُ أَنَا وَأَبِي إِلَى صِهْرٍ لَنَا مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ نَعُودُهُ فَحَضَرَتْ الصَّلَاةُ فَقَالَ لِبَعْضِ أَهْلِهِ يَا جَارِيَةُ ائْتُونِي بِوَضُوءٍ لَعَلِّي أُصَلِّي فَأَسْتَرِيحَ قَالَ فَأَنْكَرْنَا ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ قُمْ يَا بِلَالُ فَأَرِحْنَا بِالصَّلَاةِ

Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Katsir], he said: informed us [Isra'il], he said: narrated to us [Utsman Ibnul Mughirah] from [Salim bin Abul Ja'd] from [Abdullah bin Muhammad Ibnul Hanafiyah], he said: 'My father and I visited the house of one of our relatives from the Ansar. When the time for prayer arrived, he said to one of his family members: O my maid, bring me water for ablution so I can pray and rest." Abdullah said: "We disapproved of what he said, but he responded: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "O Bilal, stand up! Make us rest with prayer."'"'
