حَدَّثَنِي إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى يَا آدَمُ فَيَقُولُ لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ وَالْخَيْرُ فِي يَدَيْكَ فَيَقُولُ أَخْرِجْ بَعْثَ النَّارِ قَالَ وَمَا بَعْثُ النَّارِ قَالَ مِنْ كُلِّ أَلْفٍ تِسْعَ مِائَةٍ وَتِسْعَةً وَتِسْعِينَ فَعِنْدَهُ يَشِيبُ الصَّغِيرُ{ وَتَضَعُ كُلُّ ذَاتِ حَمْلٍ حَمْلَهَا وَتَرَى النَّاسَ سُكَارَى وَمَا هُمْ بِسُكَارَى وَلَكِنَّ عَذَابَ اللَّهِ شَدِيدٌ }قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَأَيُّنَا ذَلِكَ الْوَاحِدُ قَالَ أَبْشِرُوا فَإِنَّ مِنْكُمْ رَجُلًا وَمِنْ يَأْجُوجَ وَمَأْجُوجَ أَلْفًا ثُمَّ قَالَ وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ إِنِّي أَرْجُو أَنْ تَكُونُوا رُبُعَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَكَبَّرْنَا فَقَالَ أَرْجُو أَنْ تَكُونُوا ثُلُثَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَكَبَّرْنَا فَقَالَ أَرْجُو أَنْ تَكُونُوا نِصْفَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ فَكَبَّرْنَا فَقَالَ مَا أَنْتُمْ فِي النَّاسِ إِلَّا كَالشَّعَرَةِ السَّوْدَاءِ فِي جِلْدِ ثَوْرٍ أَبْيَضَ أَوْ كَشَعَرَةٍ بَيْضَاءَ فِي جِلْدِ ثَوْرٍ أَسْوَدَ

Narrated to me [Ishaq bin Nasr], narrated to us [Abu Usamah] from [Al A'mash], narrated to us [Abu Salih] from [Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him], from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said, "Allah, the Exalted, will say, 'O Adam.' He will reply, 'Here I am, at Your service, and all good is in Your hands.' He will say, 'Bring out the delegation of Hell.' He said, 'What is the delegation of Hell?' He said, 'From every thousand, nine hundred and ninety-nine.' At that, the young will turn gray, {and every pregnant woman will drop her load, and you will see the people intoxicated, though they are not intoxicated, but the punishment of Allah is severe} (Qur'an 22:2). They said, 'O Messenger of Allah, which of us is that one?' He said, 'Rejoice, for from you is one, and from Gog and Magog are a thousand.' Then he said, 'By the One in Whose hand is my soul, I hope you will be a quarter of the people of Paradise.' We glorified Allah. He said, 'I hope you will be a third of the people of Paradise.' We glorified Allah. He said, 'I hope you will be half of the people of Paradise.' We glorified Allah. He said, 'You are among the people like a black hair on the skin of a white bull, or a white hair on the skin of a black bull.'
