حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ح و حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ الْمَعْنَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَسَمَ بَيْنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ قَسْمًا فَقُلْتُ أَعْطِ فُلَانًا فَإِنَّهُ مُؤْمِنٌ قَالَ أَوْ مُسْلِمٌ إِنِّي لَأُعْطِي الرَّجُلَ الْعَطَاءَ وَغَيْرُهُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْهُ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يُكَبَّ عَلَى وَجْهِهِ

Narrated to us by Ahmad bin Hanbal, he said: Narrated to us by Abdurrazaq. (In another chain it is mentioned): Narrated to us by Ibrahim bin Basysyar, he said: Narrated to us by Sufyan in meaning, both said: Narrated to us by Ma'mar from Az Zuhri from Amir bin Sa'd from his father, he said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, distributed something to the Muslims. I (Sa'd) said: 'Give to so-and-so, for he is a believer.' He said: 'Or is he just a Muslim? Indeed, I give to a man while another (not given) is more beloved to me than him that is fearing if his face will be plunged into (hellfire).'
