حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَمْسَى قَالَ أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ أُرَاهُ قَالَ فِيهَا لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ مَا فِي هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَخَيْرَ مَا بَعْدَهَا وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ وَشَرِّ مَا بَعْدَهَا وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ الْكَسَلِ وَسُوءِ الْكِبَرِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَإِذَا أَصْبَحَ قَالَ ذَلِكَ أَيْضًا أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَقَدْ رَوَاهُ شُعْبَةُ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ لَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ

Narrated to us [Sufyan bin Waki'], narrated to us [Jarir] from [Al Hasan bin 'Ubaidullah] from [Ibrahim bin Suwaid] from [Abdur Rahman bin Yazid] from [Abdullah], he said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when in the evening said: AMSAINAA WA AMSAL MULKU LILLAAHI WAL HAMDU LILLAAHI WA LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAHU WAHDAHU LAA SYARIIKA LAHU." (We have entered the evening and the kingdom belongs to Allah, and all praise is for Allah, and there is no god worthy of worship except Allah alone, no partner for Him). I saw him on that evening say: LAHUL MULKU WA LAHUL HAMDU WA HUWA 'ALAA KULLI SYAI IN QADIIR. AS ALUKA KHAIRA MAA FII HADZIHIL LAILAH WA KHAIRA MAA BA'DAHAA WA A'UUDZU BIKA MIN SYARRI HADZIL LAILAH WA SYARRI MAA BA'DAHAA WA A'UUDZU BIKA MINAL KASALI WA SUUIL KIBARI WA A'UUDZU BIKA MIN 'ADZAABIN NAARI WA 'ADZABIL QABRI." (To Him belongs the kingdom and to Him is all praise and He is over all things competent. I ask You the good of this night and the good after it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil after it and I seek refuge in You from laziness, and the evil of old age, and I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the Fire and the punishment of the grave). And when in the morning he said the same and also: "ASHBAHNAA WA ASHBAHAL MULKU LILLAAHI WAL HAMDU LILLAAH." (We have entered the morning and the kingdom belongs to Allah, and all praise is for Allah). Abu Isa said: this hadith is hasan sahih, and has been narrated by [Syu'bah] with this chain from [Ibnu Mas'ud] and he did not marfu' it."
