حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَصِينٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ السُّلَمِيِّ قَالَقَالَ لَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ إِنَّ الرُّكَبَ سُنَّتْ لَكُمْ فَخُذُوا بِالرُّكَبِقَالَ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ سَعْدٍ وَأَنَسٍ وَأَبِي حُمَيْدٍ وَأَبِي أُسَيْدٍ وَسَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ وَمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ وَأَبِي مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ عُمَرَ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَالتَّابِعِينَ وَمَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ لَا اخْتِلَافَ بَيْنَهُمْ فِي ذَلِكَ إِلَّا مَا رُوِيَ عَنْ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَبَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُطَبِّقُونَ وَالتَّطْبِيقُ مَنْسُوخٌ عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ

Narrated to us [Ahmad bin Mani'], he said: narrated to us [Abu Bakr bin Ayyasy], he said: narrated to us [Abu Hashin] from [Abu Abdurrahman As Sulami], he said: "[Umar bin Al Khaththab], may Allah be pleased with him, said to us, 'Indeed, the knees are recommended for you to hold, so hold them.'" He said: "In this chapter there are also narrations from Sa'd, Anas, Abu Humaid, Abu Usaid, Sahl bin Sa'd, Muhammad bin Maslamah, and Abu Mas'ud." Abu Isa said: "The hadith of Umar is hasan sahih. This hadith is acted upon by scholars from the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, the tabi'in, and those after them. They do not differ on this except the hadith narrated by Ibnu Mas'ud and some of his companions. That they brought them close. And according to scholars, bringing close has been abrogated."
