حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ الْبَدْرِيِّ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُجْزِئُ صَلَاةٌ لَا يُقِيمُ فِيهَا الرَّجُلُ يَعْنِي صُلْبَهُ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِقَالَ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ وَأَنَسٍ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَرِفَاعَةَ الزُّرَقِيِّ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَمَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ يَرَوْنَ أَنْ يُقِيمَ الرَّجُلُ صُلْبَهُ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ و قَالَ الشَّافِعِيُّ وَأَحْمَدُ وَإِسْحَقُ مَنْ لَمْ يُقِمْ صُلْبَهُ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ فَصَلَاتُهُ فَاسِدَةٌ لِحَدِيثِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُجْزِئُ صَلَاةٌ لَا يُقِيمُ الرَّجُلُ فِيهَا صُلْبَهُ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ وَأَبُو مَعْمَرٍ اسْمُهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَخْبَرَةَ وَأَبُو مَسْعُودٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ الْبَدْرِيُّ اسْمُهُ عُقْبَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو

Narrated to us [Ahmad bin Mani'], he said: narrated to us [Abu Mu'awiyah] from [Al A'masy] from [Umarah bin Umair] from [Abu Ma'mar] from [Abu Mas'ud Al Anshari Al Badri], he said: "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'One's prayer is not perfect if in bowing and prostration his backbone is not straight.'" He said: "In this chapter there are also narrations from Ali bin Syaiban, Anas, Abu Hurairah, and Rifa'ah Az Zuraqi." Abu Isa said: "The hadith of Abu Mas'ud Al Anshari is hasan sahih. This hadith is acted upon by scholars from the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and those after them. They hold that one should straighten his backbone when bowing and prostrating." Imam Syafi'i, Ahmad, and Ishaq said: "One who does not straighten his back when bowing and prostrating, his prayer is invalid. This is based on the hadith of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: 'One's prayer is not perfect if in bowing and prostration his backbone is not straight.'" Abu Mu'tamir's name is Abdullah bin Sukhbarah, while Abu Mas'ud Al Anshari Al Badri's name is Uqbah bin 'Amru.
