حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْأَبَحُّ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَثَلُ أُمَّتِي مَثَلُ الْمَطَرِ لَا يُدْرَى أَوَّلُهُ خَيْرٌ أَمْ آخِرُهُقَالَ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَمَّارٍ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ قَالَ وَرُوِي عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مَهْدِيٍّ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُثَبِّتُ حَمَّادَ بْنَ يَحْيَى الْأَبَحَّ وَكَانَ يَقُولُ هُوَ مِنْ شُيُوخِنَا
Narrated to us [Qutaibah] has told us [Hammad bin Yahya Al Abah] from [Thabit Al Bunani] from [Anas] said : The Prophet peace be upon him said: "The parable of my ummah is like rain, it is not known (whether) it is good at the beginning or the end." Abu Isa said : In this case, there are similar hadiths from 'Ammar, Abdullah bin 'Amru and Ibn Umar. Abu Isa said : This hadith hasan gharib through this sanad. he said : And it was narrated from Abdurrahman bin Mahdi that he confirmed (hadith) Hammad bin Yahya Al Abah, he said : "He is one of our teachers."
