Narrated to us [Qutaibah], he said: narrated to us [Al Laits] from [Ibnu Syihab] from [Urwah] from ['Aisyah] that she said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) prayed Asr while sunlight entered her chamber and no shadow had yet appeared in her chamber." He said: "In this chapter there are also narrations from Anas, Abu Arwa, Jabir and Rafi' bin Khadij." He said: "It is also narrated from Rafi' from the Prophet (peace be upon him) about delaying Asr, but that narration is not sahih." Abu Isa said: "The hadith of 'Aisyah is hasan sahih." This is the view chosen by some scholars among the Companions: among them Umar, Abdullah bin Mas'ud, 'Aisyah, Anas and some Tabi'in – hastening Asr and disliking delaying it. Ibnul Mubarak, Syafi'i, Ahmad and Ishaq hold this.
