حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ ابْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَأَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَرَأَيْتُمْ لَوْ أَنَّ نَهْرًا بِبَابِ أَحَدِكُمْ يَغْتَسِلُ مِنْهُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ خَمْسَ مَرَّاتٍ هَلْ يَبْقَى مِنْ دَرَنِهِ شَيْءٌ قَالُوا لَا يَبْقَى مِنْ دَرَنِهِ شَيْءٌ قَالَ فَذَلِكَ مَثَلُ الصَّلَوَاتِ الْخَمْسِ يَمْحُو اللَّهُ بِهِنَّ الْخَطَايَاوَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُضَرَ الْقُرَشِيُّ عَنْ ابْنِ الْهَادِ نَحْوَهُ

Narrated to us [Qutaibah] has been told to us [Al Laits] from [Ibn Al Had] from [Muhammad bin Ibrahim] from [Abu Salamah bin Abdurrahman] from [Abu Hurairah] that the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him said: "What do you think if there is a river at the door of one of you, and he bathes five times every day, there will still be dirt left?" they answered; "There won't be any dirt left." He said: "It is like praying five times a day, with which Allah will erase his mistakes." In this case, there is a similar hadith from Jabir. Abu Isa said : This hadith is hasan sahih . Narrated to us [Qutaibah] has told us [Bakr bin Mudlar Al Qurasy] from [Ibn Al Had] like the hadith above.
