حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَقُولُوا لِلْمُنَافِقِ سَيِّدٌ فَإِنَّهُ إِنْ يَكُ سَيِّدًا فَقَدْ أَسْخَطْتُمْ رَبَّكُمْ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ
Narrated to us [Ubaidullah bin Umar bin Maisarah], he said: narrated to us [Mu'adz bin Hisyam], he said: narrated to me [my father] from [Qatadah] from [Abdullah bin Buraidah] from [his father], he said: 'The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Do not call a hypocrite 'master,' for if he becomes a master, you have angered your Lord, the Mighty and Exalted."'"'
