Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] said, narrated to us [Ibnu Abu Adi] from [Hisyam Ad Dastuwa`i] from [Qatadah] from [Anas] that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'There is no contagion (belief that disease spreads without Allah’s decree) or superstition (thiyarah), but I like optimism.' The companions asked: 'O Messenger of Allah, what is optimism?' He replied: 'A good word.' Abu Isa said: 'This hadith is hasan sahih.'
