Narrated to us [An Nufaili], he said: narrated to us [Zuhair], he said: narrated to us [Manshur Ibnul Mu'tamir] from [Hilal bin Yasaf] from [Rabi' bin Umailah] from [Samurah bin Jundub], he said: 'The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Never name your slave Yasar (ease), Rabah (profit), Najih (successful), or Aflah (prosperous). For you might ask, 'Is there someone with that name?' and they reply, 'No.'" (Samurah said:) These names (prohibited for slaves) are only four, so do not add (falsehood) to my name.'"
