أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ ذَكْوَانَ عَنْ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ فَإِذَا سُمَيْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَقُصُّ وَحُمَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَذْكُرُ الْعِلْمَ فِي نَاحِيَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَمَيَّلْتُ إِلَى أَيِّهِمَا أَجْلِسُ فَنَعَسْتُ فَأَتَانِي آتٍ فَقَالَ مَيَّلْتَ إِلَى أَيِّهِمَا تَجْلِسُ إِنْ شِئْتَ أَرَيْتُكَ مَكَانَ جِبْرَائِيلَ مِنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ

Narrated to us [Al Hasan bin Rabi'] from [Abdullah bin 'Ubaidullah] from [Hasan bin Dzakwan] from [Ibn Sirin] he said: "I entered the mosque, it turned out that Sumair bin 'Abdur Rahman was telling stories, while Humaid bin Abdur Rahman was teaching knowledge in the mosque room. I was confused about which of the two majlis to join. Obviously then I was sleepy. Suddenly someone came to me in my dream and said: 'You are confused which of the two do you want? Don't you know that Jibril's place is in Humaid bin Abdur Rahman's council?
