حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي خَالِدٌ هُوَ ابْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي هِلَالٍ عَنْ نُبَيْهِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ أَنَّ كَعْبًا دَخَلَ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ فَذَكَرُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ كَعْبٌ مَا مِنْ يَوْمٍ يَطْلُعُ إِلَّا نَزَلَ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا مِنْ الْمَلَائِكَةِ حَتَّى يَحُفُّوا بِقَبْرِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَضْرِبُونَ بِأَجْنِحَتِهِمْ وَيُصَلُّونَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى إِذَا أَمْسَوْا عَرَجُوا وَهَبَطَ مِثْلُهُمْ فَصَنَعُوا مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ حَتَّى إِذَا انْشَقَّتْ عَنْهُ الْأَرْضُ خَرَجَ فِي سَبْعِينَ أَلْفًا مِنْ الْمَلَائِكَةِ يَزِفُّونَهُ

Narrated to us [Abdullah bin Salih] Narrated to me, [Al Laits] Narrated to me, [Khalid Ibnu Yazid], from [Sa`id Ibnu Abu Hilal] from [Nubaih bin Wahb] that Ka'ab came to visit AisyahMay Allah be pleased with her. Then the companions mentioned the name of the Prophet Peace be upon him, [Ka'ab] said: "Not a single day (passes) unless a thousand angels descend and surround the grave of the Prophet Peace be upon him, they flap their wings and offer blessings to the Prophet Peace be upon him. Until evening comes, they ascend (to the sky,) and the angels descend like the same and do the same as before, until the earth is split open, He Peace be upon him came out accompanied by seventy thousand angels.
