Narrated to us [Mahmud bin Ghailan], narrated to us [Abu Ahmad Az Zubairi] and [Ubaidullah] from [Ats Tsauri] from [Jabalah bin Suhaim] from [Ibnu Umar], he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, prohibited someone from taking two dates until he asks permission from its owner. In this matter, there is also a narration from Sa'd, the freed slave of Abu Bakr. Abu Isa said: This is a hasan sahih hadith.
