حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ الْكُوفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ حُبَابٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَجَّ ثَلَاثَ حِجَجٍ حَجَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُهَاجِرَ وَحَجَّةً بَعْدَ مَا هَاجَرَ وَمَعَهَا عُمْرَةٌ فَسَاقَ ثَلَاثَةً وَسِتِّينَ بَدَنَةً وَجَاءَ عَلِيٌّ مِنْ الْيَمَنِ بِبَقِيَّتِهَا فِيهَا جَمَلٌ لِأَبِي جَهْلٍ فِي أَنْفِهِ بُرَةٌ مِنْ فِضَّةٍ فَنَحَرَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ كُلِّ بَدَنَةٍ بِبَضْعَةٍ فَطُبِخَتْ وَشَرِبَ مِنْ مَرَقِهَاقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ سُفْيَانَ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ زَيْدِ بْنِ حُبَابٍ وَرَأَيْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ رَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ فِي كُتُبِهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ قَالَ وَسَأَلْتُ مُحَمَّدًا عَنْ هَذَا فَلَمْ يَعْرِفْهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَرَأَيْتُهُ لَمْ يَعُدَّ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ مَحْفُوظًا و قَالَ إِنَّمَا يُرْوَى عَنْ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَقَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ مُرْسَلًا

Narrated to us [Abdullah bin Abu Ziyad Al Kufi] narrated to us [Zaid bin Hubab] from [Sufyan] from [Ja'far bin Muhammad] from [His father] from [Jabir bin Abdullah] that the Prophet (peace be upon him) performed Hajj three times; two times he did before the Hijrah and one time after the Hijrah along with Umrah, bringing sixty-three camels. Then Ali arrived from Yemen bringing the rest, among them was the camel of Abu Jahl with a silver ring on its nose. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) slaughtered them. He also ordered (to take) a portion from each camel to be cooked. Then he drank its broth. Abu 'Isa said; "This is a gharib hadith from the hadith of Sufyan, which we do not know except from the hadith of Zaid bin Hubab. I saw [Abdullah bin Abdurrahman] narrating this hadith in his books, from [Abdullah bin Abu Ziyad]. (Abu Isa At Tirmidzi) said; "I asked [Muhammad] about this hadith, but he did not know it from the hadith of Ats Tsauri from Ja'far from his father from Jabir from the Prophet (peace be upon him). I saw (Muhammad) not including it in the preserved hadiths, he said; 'But it is narrated from [Ats Tsauri] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Mujahid] as mursal'."
