Narrated to us [Musaddad] narrated to us [Yahya] from [Abu Hayyan] who Sa'd narrated to me [Abu Zur'ah] who Sa'd narrated to me [Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him] who said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, stood among us and spoke about misappropriating spoils, emphasizing its gravity. He Sa'd 'I will find one of you on the Day of Judgment with a bleating sheep on his neck, saying, "O Messenger of Allah, help me," and I will say, "I have no power for you; I conveyed to you." With a neighing horse on his neck, saying, "O Messenger of Allah, help me," and I will say, "I have no power for you; I conveyed to you." With a bellowing camel on his neck, saying, "O Messenger of Allah, help me," and I will say, "I have no power for you; I conveyed to you." With gold and silver on his neck, saying, "O Messenger of Allah, help me," and I will say, "I have no power for you; I conveyed to you." With fluttering cloth on his neck, saying, "O Messenger of Allah, help me," and I will say, "I have no power for you; I conveyed to you."' [Ayyub] from [Abu Hayyan] Sa'd 'With a neighing horse on his neck.'
