أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي الْقَعْقَاعُ عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَحِمَ اللَّهُ رَجُلًا قَامَ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ فَصَلَّى ثُمَّ أَيْقَظَ امْرَأَتَهُ فَصَلَّتْ فَإِنْ أَبَتْ نَضَحَ فِي وَجْهِهَا الْمَاءَ وَرَحِمَ اللَّهُ امْرَأَةً قَامَتْ مِنْ اللَّيْلِ فَصَلَّتْ ثُمَّ أَيْقَظَتْ زَوْجَهَا فَصَلَّى فَإِنْ أَبَى نَضَحَتْ فِي وَجْهِهِ الْمَاءَ

Narrated to us [Ya'qub bin Ibrahim] he said : has related to us [Yahya] from [Ibn 'Ajlan] he said : has related to me [Al Qa'qa'] from [Abu Salih] from [Abu Hurairah] he said : Rasulullah Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam said: "Allah has mercy on a young man who gets up to pray at night, then he wakes his wife to pray, if she is reluctant then he sprinkles water on her face, and Allah has mercy on a wife who wakes up to pray at night then she wakes her husband to pray, if he is reluctant then he sprinkles water on his face."
