Bolehnya isbal satu jengkal sampai satu hasta bagi Wanita
Imam Abu Dawud : 3590حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ أَنَّهَا أَخْبَرَتْهُأَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ ذَكَرَ الْإِزَارَ فَالْمَرْأَةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ تُرْخِي شِبْرًا قَالَتْ أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ إِذًا يَنْكَشِفُ عَنْهَا قَالَ فَذِرَاعًا لَا تَزِيدُ عَلَيْهِحَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد رَوَاهُ ابْنُ إِسْحَقَ وَأَيُّوبُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ صَفِيَّةَ
Narrated to us[Abdullah bin Maslamah] from [Malik] from [Abu Bakr bin Nafi'] from [his father] that [Shafiyyah bint Abu 'Ubaid] informed him that [Umm Salamah], the wife of the Prophet (peace be upon him), said to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) when he mentioned the lower garment: "O Messenger of Allah, what about women?" He replied: "Extend it by a handspan." Umm Salamah said: "What if it still shows?" He replied: "Extend it by a cubit and no more." Narrated to us[Ibrahim bin Musa], who informed us [Isa] from ['Ubaydullah] from [Nafi'] from [Sulayman bin Yasar] from [Umm Salamah] from the Prophet (peace be upon him) with this hadith. Abu Dawud said: "[Ibn Ishaq] and ['Ayyub bin Musa] also narrated from [Nafi'] from [Shafiyyah]."
