حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَيْرَةَ عَنْ زَوْجِ دُرَّةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي لَهَبٍ عَنْ دُرَّةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي لَهَبٍ قَالَتْ قَامَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ النَّاسِ خَيْرٌ فَقَالَ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَيْرُ النَّاسِ أَقْرَؤُهُمْ وَأَتْقَاهُمْ وَآمَرُهُمْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَأَنْهَاهُمْ عَنْ الْمُنْكَرِ وَأَوْصَلُهُمْ لِلرَّحِمِ

Narrated to us [Ahmad bin Abdul Malik] Narrated to us [Sharik] from [Simak] from [Abdullah bin Umairah] from [Her husband Durrah bint Abu Lahab] from [Durrah bint Abu Lahab] he said, "A man stood in front of the Prophet Peace be upon him, while he was on the pulpit. The man asked, "O Rasulullah, who is the best human being?" said: "The best human being is the one who understands (the Book of Allah) the most, is the most devout, the one who most often commands good and avoids evil, and the one who most often builds friendly relations.
