حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ يَعْنِي الْمُؤَدِّبَ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ مُسْلِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْوَضَّاحِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ وَالْمُجَالِدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَامِرٍ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ شَهْرٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ كَلِمَتَيْنِ مِنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَلِمَةٌ وَمِنْ النَّجَاشِيِّ أُخْرَى سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ انْظُرُوا قُرَيْشًا فَخُذُوا مِنْ قَوْلِهِمْ وَذَرُوا فِعْلَهُمْ وَكُنْتُ عِنْدَ النَّجَاشِيِّ جَالِسًا فَجَاءَ ابْنُهُ مِنْ الْكُتَّابِ فَقَرَأَ آيَةً مِنْ الْإِنْجِيلِ فَعَرَفْتُهَا أَوْ فَهِمْتُهَا فَضَحِكْتُ فَقَالَ مِمَّ تَضْحَكُ أَمِنْ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى فَوَاللَّهِ إِنَّ مِمَّا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَلَى عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ أَنَّ اللَّعْنَةَ تَكُونُ فِي الْأَرْضِ إِذَا كَانَ أُمَرَاؤُهَا الصِّبْيَانَ

Narrated to us [Abu Nadlr] Narrated to us [Abu Sa'id] namely Al Muaddib, Muhammad bin Muslim bin Abu Al Wadloh Narrated to us [Isma'il bin Abu Khalid] and [Al Mujalid bin Sa'id] from ['Amir As-Sya'bi] from ['Amir bin Syahr] said: I have heard two sentences, one sentence from the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him and the other sentence from Najasyi, the sentence I heard from the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him was, "Look at the Quraysh people then take their words, and abandon their deeds" I sat in a meeting of the king of Najasyi, then a son who was good at the Bible came, then he read a verse from the Bible until I understood and comprehended it then I laughed, then he asked, why are you laugh?. He asked, "Are you smiling because of the book of Allah Ta'ala?" By Allah, among what Allah revealed to Isa bin Maryam, curses will occur on earth if its leaders are children.
