حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءٌ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا يَقُولُكُنَّا لَا نَأْكُلُ مِنْ لُحُومِ بُدْنِنَا فَوْقَ ثَلَاثِ مِنًى فَرَخَّصَ لَنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ كُلُوا وَتَزَوَّدُوا فَأَكَلْنَا وَتَزَوَّدْنَا قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ أَقَالَ حَتَّى جِئْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ قَالَ لَا

Narrated by Musaddad, narrated by Yahya from Ibn Juraij, narrated by Atho?, who heard Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them) say: We did not eat the meat of our sacrificial animals beyond the three days of Mina (Tasyriq). Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) permitted us, saying: Eat and take some as provisions. So we ate and took provisions. I asked Atho?: Did he say: Until we arrived in Medina? He replied: No.
