حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ الْعَمِّيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عِيسَى الْخَزَّارُ الْبَصْرِيُّ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الصَّدَقَةَ لَتُطْفِئُ غَضَبَ الرَّبِّ وَتَدْفَعُ عَنْ مِيتَةِ السُّوءِقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ

Narrated to us ['Uqbah bin Mukram Al 'Ammiy Al Bashri], narrated to us [Abdullah bin 'Isa Al Khazzar Al Bashri] from [Yunus bin 'Ubaid] from [Al Hasan] from [Anas bin Malik], he said, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed charity wards off the wrath of Allah and wards off a person from dying in a bad state (su'ul khatimah)." Abu 'Isa said, through this path, this is a gharib hadith.
