حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْمُفَضَّلِ وَخَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تُوَاصِلُوا قَالُوا فَإِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِنِّي لَسْتُ كَأَحَدِكُمْ إِنَّ رَبِّي يُطْعِمُنِي وَيَسْقِينِيقَالَ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَعَائِشَةَ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ وَجَابِرٍ وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ وَبَشِيرِ ابْنِ الْخَصَاصِيَةِ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ أَنَسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ كَرِهُوا الْوِصَالَ فِي الصِّيَامِ وَرُوِيَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُوَاصِلُ الْأَيَّامَ وَلَا يُفْطِرُ

Narrated to us [Nashr bin 'Ali Al Jahdlami] narrated to us [Bisyr bin Al Mufadldlal] and [Khalid bin Al Harits] from [Sa'id] from [Qatadah] from [Anas] said; 'The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Do not fast wisal.' They said; 'You also fast wisal, O Messenger of Allah?' He answered: 'I am different from you, because Allah gives me food and drink'.' (Abu 'Isa At Tirmidzi) said; 'Similar hadiths are narrated from 'Ali, Abu Hurairah, 'Aisyah, Ibn 'Umar, Jabir, Abu Sa'id, and Basyir bin Al Khashashiyyah.' Abu 'Isa said; 'The hadith of Anas is a hasan sahih hadith and practiced by the scholars, they all dislike fasting wisal. It is narrated from 'Abdullah bin Zubair that he once fasted wisal for several days and did not break the fast.'
