Narrated by [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Numair], he said: Narrated to us [Waki'] and [my father] from [Al A'masy] from [Syaqiq] from [Abdullah], he said: We asked, 'O Rasulullah, will we be punished for what we did in Jahiliyyah?' Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: 'Whoever does good in Islam will not be punished for their Jahiliyyah deeds, but whoever does evil will be held accountable for both.'
