حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ طَلْقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْبَيْلَمَانِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبَسَةَ السُّلَمِيِّ قَالَ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَنْ مَعَكَ عَلَى هَذَا الْأَمْرِ قَالَ حُرٌّ وَعَبْدٌ وَمَعَهُ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَبِلَالٌ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ ارْجِعْ إِلَى قَوْمِكَ حَتَّى يُمَكِّنَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِرَسُولِهِ قَالَ وَكَانَ عَمْرُو بْنُ عَبَسَةَ يَقُولُ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُنِي وَإِنِّي لَرُبُعُ الْإِسْلَامِ

Narrated to us [Yazid bin Harun] Narrated to us [Hammad bin Salamah] from [Ya'la bin 'Atha`] from [Yazid bin Thalq] from [Abdurrahman bin Al Bailamani] from ['Amr bin 'Abasah] said: I said: "O Messenger of Allah, who is with you in this matter?" He said: "There are free people and slaves," he was with Abu Bakr and Bilal at that time. Then he said to him, "Go home to your people until Allah The Mighty and Majestic gives power to His Messenger." (Abdurrahman bin Al Bailamani may Allah be pleased with him) said: 'Amr bin 'Abasah said: "I am the fourth person to convert to Islam.
