أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي فَسَمِعْنَاهُ يَقُولُ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْكَ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَلْعَنُكَ بِلَعْنَةِ اللَّهِ ثَلَاثًا وَبَسَطَ يَدَهُ كَأَنَّهُ يَتَنَاوَلُ شَيْئًا فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ مِنْ الصَّلَاةِ قُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَدْ سَمِعْنَاكَ تَقُولُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ شَيْئًا لَمْ نَسْمَعْكَ تَقُولُهُ قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ وَرَأَيْنَاكَ بَسَطْتَ يَدَكَ قَالَ إِنَّ عَدُوَّ اللَّهِ إِبْلِيسَ جَاءَ بِشِهَابٍ مِنْ نَارٍ لِيَجْعَلَهُ فِي وَجْهِي فَقُلْتُ أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْكَ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ قُلْتُ أَلْعَنُكَ بِلَعْنَةِ اللَّهِ فَلَمْ يَسْتَأْخِرْ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ ثُمَّ أَرَدْتُ أَنْ آخُذَهُ وَاللَّهِ لَوْلَا دَعْوَةُ أَخِينَا سُلَيْمَانَ لَأَصْبَحَ مُوثَقًا بِهَا يَلْعَبُ بِهِ وِلْدَانُ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ

Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Salamah] from [Ibnu Wahb] from [Mu'awiyah bin Salih] he said :Narrated to us [Rabi'ah bin Yazid] from [Abu Idris Al Khaulani] from [Abu Ad Darda'] he said : "The Prophet sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam stood up to pray, and we heard him say, 'I seek refuge in Allah from you (Satan)'. Then he also said, 'I curse you with the curse of Allah'. He said it three times by raising his hands as if he was asking for something. After finishing the prayer we said: 'O Rasulullah sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam, we heard you in prayer saying something we have never heard before from you and we also saw you raising your hands? ' He sallallaahu'alaihiwasallam answered: "The enemy of Allah (Satan) came with a star from fire to put on my face! I said: "I seek refuge in Allah from you (the devil)" -three times-. I also said: "I curse you (the devil) with the curse of Allah." -also three times-. Then I wanted to catch him! By Allah, if it were not for the prayer of my brother Sulaiman, he would have been tied up to be played with by the children of Medina."
