أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ عَوْفٍ عَنْ عَبَّاسٍ الْعَمِّيِّ قَالَ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّ دَاوُدَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَقُولُ فِي دُعَائِهِ سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي تَعَالَيْتَ فَوْقَ عَرْشِكَ وَجَعَلْتَ خَشْيَتَكَ عَلَى مَنْ فِي السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ فَأَقْرَبُ خَلْقِكَ مِنْكَ مَنْزِلَةً أَشَدُّهُمْ لَكَ خَشْيَةً وَمَا عِلْمُ مَنْ لَمْ يَخْشَكَ وَمَا حِكْمَةُ مَنْ لَمْ يُطِعْ أَمْرَكَ

Narrated to us [Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Abu Syaibah] Narrated to us [Marwan bin Mu'awiyah] from ['Auf] from [Abbas Al 'Ammi] he said: "It has come to me that the Prophet David 'alaihissalam said in his prayer: 'Glorified are You, O Allah, You are my Lord, You are most exalted in Your Throne, and You have made whoever is in the heavens and on the earth fear You, then the nearest of Your creatures, who The highest position is those who fear You the most, those who do not fear You are not considered to have knowledge, and there is no wisdom for those who disobey You.
