Imam Malik : 1576
Narrated to me by Malik from 'Amir bin Abdullah bin al-Zubair that when he heard thunder, he stopped talking and said, 'Subhana alladhi yusabbihu ar-ra'du bi-hamdihi wa al-mala'ikatu min khifatihi (Glory be to the One whom the thunder glorifies with His praise, and the angels out of fear of Him).' Then he said, 'Indeed, this is a stern warning for the people of the earth.'
