Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] narrated to us [Mu'adz bin Hisyam] narrated to me [my father] from [Qatadah] from [Abu Al 'Aliyah] from [Ibnu Abbas] that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, supplicated when in distress by saying: LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAHUL HALIIMUL HAKIIM, LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAHU RABBUL 'ARSYIL 'AZHIIM, LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAHU RABBUS SAMAAWAATI WAL ARDHI WA RABBUL 'ARSYIL KARIIM" (There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, the Forbearing the Wise, there is no god worthy of worship except Allah Lord of the great Throne, there is no god worthy of worship except Allah, Lord of the heavens and the earth and Lord of the noble Throne). Narrated to us [Ibnu Abu 'Adi] from [Hisyam] from [Qatadah] from [Abu Al 'Aliyah] from [Ibnu Abbas] from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, with a hadith like that. And in that chapter there are narrations from Ali, Abu Isa said: this hadith is hasan sahih."
