حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّانَ عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِبِلَالٍ عِنْدَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ يَا بِلَالُ حَدِّثْنِي بِأَرْجَى عَمَلٍ عَمِلْتَهُ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ دَفَّ نَعْلَيْكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ مَا عَمِلْتُ عَمَلًا أَرْجَى عِنْدِي أَنِّي لَمْ أَتَطَهَّرْ طَهُورًا فِي سَاعَةِ لَيْلٍ أَوْ نَهَارٍ إِلَّا صَلَّيْتُ بِذَلِكَ الطُّهُورِ مَا كُتِبَ لِي أَنْ أُصَلِّيَقَالَ أَبُو عَبْد اللَّهِ دَفَّ نَعْلَيْكَ يَعْنِي تَحْرِيكَ

Ishaq bin Nasr narrated to us, Abu Usamah narrated to us, from Abu Hayyan, from Abu Zur'ah, from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him Sa'dto Bilal at the Fajr prayer: 'O Bilal, tell me about the most hopeful deed you have done in Islam, for I heard the sound of your sandals in front of me in Paradise.' Bilal Sa'd 'I have not done a deed more hopeful to me than that whenever I purify myself at any hour of the night or day, I pray with that purification as much as is destined for me to pray.' Abu 'Abdullah said: 'The sound of your sandals' means the movement of the sandals.
