أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ قَالَتْكَانَتْ أُمُّ عَطِيَّةَ لَا تَذْكُرُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا قَالَتْ بِأَبَا فَقُلْتُ أَسَمِعْتِ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ كَذَا وَكَذَا قَالَتْ نَعَمْ بِأَبَا قَالَ لِتَخْرُجْ الْعَوَاتِقُ وَذَوَاتُ الْخُدُورِ وَالْحُيَّضُ فَيَشْهَدْنَ الْخَيْرَ وَدَعْوَةَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَتَعْتَزِلْ الْحُيَّضُ الْمُصَلَّى
Narrated to us [Amr bin Zurarah] he said : Narrated to us [Ismail] from [Ayub] from [Hafshah] he said : "[Umm Athiyyah] said to Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, 'My father is my guarantee'. I said, 'Did you hear Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam say such and such?' Haidl came out to witness the goodness and preaching of the Muslims. Women who are menstruating should stay away from places of prayer."
