حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو وَأَبُو مَعْمَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَوْ تَرَكْنَا هَذَا الْبَابَ لِلنِّسَاءِقَالَ نَافِعٌ فَلَمْ يَدْخُلْ مِنْهُ ابْنُ عُمَرَ حَتَّى مَاتَ وَقَالَ غَيْرُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ قَالَ عُمَرُ وَهُوَ أَصَحُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ بِمَعْنَاهُ وَهُوَ أَصَحُّ

Narrated to us [Abdullah bin Amru] and [Abu Ma’mar], narrated to us [Abdul Warith], narrated to us [Ayyub] from [Nafi’] from [Ibn Umar], he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, 'If only we reserved this door for women,' pointing to a mosque door. Nafi’ said: Ibn Umar never entered through it until he died. Others besides Abdul Warith said it was Umar, which is more authentic. Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Qudamah bin A’yan], narrated to us [Isma’il] from [Ayyub] from [Nafi’], he said: Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, said the same, and this is more authentic.
