It was narrated to us by [Adam] who said: It was narrated to us by [Shubah] who said: It was narrated to us by [Al-Hakam] who said: I heard [Sa'id bin Jubair] from [Ibn 'Abbas] who said: 'I stayed overnight at the house of my aunt, Maimunah bint Al-Harith, the wife of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. The Prophet was with her that night, as it was her turn. He performed the Isha prayer, then came to his house and prayed four rak'ahs, then slept and woke up again. He said: "The little boy is asleep," or a similar phrase, then stood for prayer. I stood on his left, but he placed me on his right. He prayed five rak'ahs, then two rak'ahs, then slept until I heard his snoring, then he went out for the morning prayer.'
