حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُوسَى مَرْدَوَيْهِ قَالَا أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى أَنْ يَبُولَ الرَّجُلُ فِي مُسْتَحَمِّهِ وَقَالَ إِنَّ عَامَّةَ الْوَسْوَاسِ مِنْهُقَالَ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ مَرْفُوعًا إِلَّا مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَشْعَثَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَيُقَالُ لَهُ أَشْعَثُ الْأَعْمَى وَقَدْ كَرِهَ قَوْمٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ الْبَوْلَ فِي الْمُغْتَسَلِ وَقَالُوا عَامَّةُ الْوَسْوَاسِ مِنْهُ وَرَخَّصَ فِيهِ بَعْضُ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْهُمْ ابْنُ سِيرِينَ وَقِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّهُ يُقَالُ إِنَّ عَامَّةَ الْوَسْوَاسِ مِنْهُ فَقَالَ رَبُّنَا اللَّهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ و قَالَ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ قَدْ وُسِّعَ فِي الْبَوْلِ فِي الْمُغْتَسَلِ إِذَا جَرَى فِيهِ الْمَاءُ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا بِذَلِكَ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ الْآمُلِيُّ عَنْ حِبَّانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ

Narrated to us [‘Ali bin Hujr] and [Ahmad bin Muhammad bin Musa Al-Mardawayh]: both said: informed us [‘Abdullah Ibn Al-Mubarak] from [Ma’mar] from [Ash’ath bin ‘Abdullah] from [Al-Hasan] from [‘Abdullah bin Mughaffal]: The Prophet, may Allah’s peace be upon him, forbade a person from urinating in his bathing place and said: "Most waswas (whispers) come from it." He said: "In this chapter there is also a narration from one of the Companions of the Prophet, may Allah’s peace be upon him." Abu Isa said: "This hadith is gharib: we know it as marfu‘ only through Ash’ath bin ‘Abdullah, also called Ash’ath Al-A‘ma." Some scholars deem it makruh to urinate in the bathing place, saying: "Most waswas come from it." Others give leniency, among them Ibn Sirin. When told: "Most waswas come from it," he replied: "Our Lord is Allah: He has no partner." Ibn Al-Mubarak said: "There is leniency to urinate in the bathing place if the water is flowing." Abu Isa said: "Ahmad bin ‘Abdah Al-‘Amuli narrated it to us from Hibban from ‘Abdullah Ibn Al-Mubarak."
