It was narrated to us by ['Abdullah bin Yusuf] who said: It was narrated to us by [Malik] who said: It was narrated to us by [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Muhammad bin Yahya bin Hibban] from [his uncle Wasi' bin Hibban] from ['Abdullah bin 'Umar] who said: 'Some people say: "When you sit to relieve yourself, do not face the Qiblah or Bait Al-Maqdis." 'Abdullah bin 'Umar said: 'One day, I climbed onto the roof of our house and saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on two bricks, facing Bait Al-Maqdis for his need.' He said: 'Perhaps you are among those who pray with their thighs close to the ground?' I said: 'By Allah, I do not know.' Malik said: 'It means one who prays without raising (his thighs) from the ground during prostration, sticking to the ground.'
