حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادٌ وَالْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْخَلَّالُ وَغَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ قَالُوا حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ عَنْ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَقِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَنَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ بِئْرِ بُضَاعَةَ وَهِيَ بِئْرٌ يُلْقَى فِيهَا الْحِيَضُ وَلُحُومُ الْكِلَابِ وَالنَّتْنُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الْمَاءَ طَهُورٌ لَا يُنَجِّسُهُ شَيْءٌقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ وَقَدْ جَوَّدَ أَبُو أُسَامَةَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ فَلَمْ يَرْوِ أَحَدٌ حَدِيثَ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ فِي بِئْرِ بُضَاعَةَ أَحْسَنَ مِمَّا رَوَى أَبُو أُسَامَةَ وَقَدْ رُوِيَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثُ مِنْ غَيْرِ وَجْهٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَعَائِشَةَ

Narrated to us [Hannad], [Al-Hasan bin ‘Ali Al-Khallal], and others: they said: narrated to us [Abu Usamah] from [Al-Walid bin Kathir] from [Muhammad bin Ka‘b] from [‘Ubaydullah bin ‘Abdullah bin Rafi‘ bin Khadij] from [Abu Sa‘id Al-Khudri]: Someone asked: "O Messenger of Allah, may we perform wudu from the well of Budha‘ah into which menstrual rags, dog flesh, and carrion are thrown?" The Messenger of Allah replied: "Water is pure: nothing renders it impure." Abu Isa said: "This hadith is hasan. Abu Usamah regarded it good: no narration of Abu Sa‘id about Budha‘ah is better than Abu Usamah’s. It is narrated through several chains from Abu Sa‘id. In this chapter there are narrations from Ibn ‘Abbas and ‘A’ishah."
