Sunnah prayer after wudu, two rakaat (before tahajud)
Imam Tirmidzi : 50حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِمْرَانَ الثَّعْلَبِيُّ الْكُوفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ حُبَابٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الدِّمَشْقِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ الْخَوْلَانِيِّ وَأَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ تَوَضَّأَ فَأَحْسَنَ الْوُضُوءَ ثُمَّ قَالَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي مِنْ التَّوَّابِينَ وَاجْعَلْنِي مِنْ الْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ فُتِحَتْ لَهُ ثَمَانِيَةُ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ يَدْخُلُ مِنْ أَيِّهَا شَاءَقَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَنَسٍ وَعُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ عُمَرَ قَدْ خُولِفَ زَيْدُ بْنُ حُبَابٍ فِي هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ قَالَ وَرَوَى عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ وَغَيْرُهُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ وَعَنْ رَبِيعَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ فِي إِسْنَادِهِ اضْطِرَابٌ وَلَا يَصِحُّ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ كَبِيرُ شَيْءٍ قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ وَأَبُو إِدْرِيسَ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ عُمَرَ شَيْئًا
Narrated to us [Ja‘far bin Muhammad bin ‘Imran Ath-Tha‘labi Al-Kufi], he said: narrated to us [Zayd bin Hubab] from [Mu‘awiyah bin Salih] from [Rabi‘ah bin Yazid Ad-Dimashqi] from [Abu Idris Al-Khawlani] and [Abu ‘Uthman] from [‘Umar bin Al-Khattab]: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s peace be upon him, said: "Whoever performs wudu perfectly then recites: ASHHADU AN LAA ILAAHA ILLALLAAH WAHDAHU LAA SHAREEKA LAH, WA ASHHADU ANNA MUHAMMADAN ‘ABDUHU WA RASOOLUH, ALLAAHUMMAJ‘ALNEE MINAT-TAWWAABEENA WAJ‘ALNEE MINAL-MUTATAHHIREEN, all eight gates of Paradise will open for him: he may enter whichever he wishes." Abu Isa said: "In this chapter there are narrations from Anas and ‘Uqbah bin ‘Amir." Abu Isa said: "The hadith of ‘Umar is disputed by Zayd bin Hubab. [‘Abdullah bin Salih] and others narrated from [Mu‘awiyah bin Salih] from [Rabi‘ah bin Yazid] from [Abu Idris] from [‘Uqbah bin ‘Amir] from [‘Umar]: Rabi‘ah also narrated from [Abu ‘Uthman] from [Jubayr bin Nufayr] from [‘Umar]. The chain contains idtirab: there is no sahih hadith from the Prophet in this chapter." Muhammad said: "Abu Idris did not hear from ‘Umar."
