حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءُ بْنُ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍأَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ يَعْنِي لِرَجُلٍ حَلَّفَهُ احْلِفْ بِاللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ مَا لَهُ عِنْدَكَ شَيْءٌ يَعْنِي لِلْمُدَّعِيقَالَ أَبُو دَاوُد أَبُو يَحْيَى اسْمُهُ زِيَادٌ كُوفِيٌّ ثِقَةٌ

Narrated to us [Muhammad bin Katsir], he said: Narrated to us [Sufyan] from [Abdul Malik bin 'Umair], he said: Narrated to us [Abdurrahman bin Abu Bakrah] from his father that he wrote to his son, saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'A judge must not decide between two people while he is angry.'
