وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِعَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ عَرَضَ عَلَيَّ رَبِّي لِيَجْعَلَ لِي بَطْحَاءَ مَكَّةَ ذَهَبًا قُلْتُ لَا يَا رَبِّ وَلَكِنْ أَشْبَعُ يَوْمًا وَأَجُوعُ يَوْمًا وَقَالَ ثَلَاثًا أَوْ نَحْوَ هَذَا فَإِذَا جُعْتُ تَضَرَّعْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَذَكَرْتُكَ وَإِذَا شَبِعْتُ شَكَرْتُكَ وَحَمِدْتُكَقَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ وَالْقَاسِمُ هَذَا هُوَ ابْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَيُكْنَى أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ وَيُقَالُ أَيْضًا يُكْنَى أَبَا عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ وَهُوَ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ خَالِدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ مُعَاوِيَةَ وَهُوَ شَامِيٌّ ثِقَةٌ وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ضَعِيفُ الْحَدِيثِ وَيُكْنَى أَبَا عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ

And with the same sanad (i.e. Has preached to us [Suwaid bin Nasr] has preached to us ['Abdullah bin Al Mubarak] from [Yahya bin Ayyub] from ['Ubaidillah bin Zahr] from ['Ali bin Yazid] from [Al Qasim Abu Abdurrahman] from [Abu Umamah]) from the Prophetpeace be upon him, he said: "My Lord offered me to turn the desert of Mecca into gold, I said: Rabb, I only want to be full for a day and hungry for a day -he said three times or something like that- when I am hungry, I submit myself to You, remember You and when I am full, I thank You and praise You." Abu Isa said: This hadith is hasan. In this case there is a similar hadith from Fadlalah bin 'Ubaid and Al Qasim, this is Ibn Abdurrahman, Abu Abdurrahman's cleric. It is also said that his kuniah was Abu 'Abdul Malik, he was the slave of Abdurrahman bin Khalid bin Yazid bin Mu'awiyah, he was from Syria, trusted, while 'Ali bin Yazid was a weak narrator of hadith, his kuniah was Abu 'Abdul Malik.
