حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا جُهَيْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْعَبْدِيُّ عَنْ خِدَاشِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ قَالَ كُنْتُ فِي حَلْقَةٍ بِالْكُوفَةِ فَإِذَا رَجُلٌ يُحَدِّثُ قَالَ كُنَّا جُلُوسًا مَعَ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ شَهِدَ عَلَى مُسْلِمٍ شَهَادَةً لَيْسَ لَهَا بِأَهْلٍ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ

Narrated to us [Yazid], he said: has informed us [Juhair bin Yazid Al 'Abdi] from [Khidasy bin 'Ayyasy] he said: I was once at a gathering in Kufa, then [a man] came who was telling a story that we were sitting with [Abu Hurairah], then he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever testifies against a Muslim with a testimony while he is not the rightful one, then he should prepare his seat in hell.
